Raid on the New Diamond Circus; Saraswati's story .mov
In September 2010 activists from UK children's charity The Esther Benjamins Trust (EBT) instigated and joined a police raid on The New Diamond Circus which was playing in Assam, northeast India. Amongst other Nepalese trafficking victims they rescued Saraswati, a 22 year old woman who had spent 14 years inside the circus.
This was filmed and edited by EBT volunteer and former UK circus professional Sky Neal.
